A new Chick-fil-A restaurant opened in Rockville at 12001 Rockville Pike on Thursday at 6 a.m., and the first 100 adults in line when the doors opened won a year's supply of free Chick-fil-A meals in the form of 52 coupons, each one for a Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich, medium-size waffle fries and medium drink. Fans from many states—including Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee and Maryland—waited in line for more than 24 hours for the coupons. See what the line looked like on Rockville Patch.

DC Eater reports that the "addictive late night Korean staple Honey Pig has opened its latest location," at 19727 Frederick Rd., Germantown.

Cookies are to be replaced by exercise, as a new Pure Barre exercise studio is opening soon in the former location of Bundles of Cookies, at 4930 Hampden Ln., Bethesda, Bethesda-Chevy Chase Patch reported.
