Bethesda FRESHFARM Market kicks off opening of 2012 Farmers Market Season with 1stAnnual Food Drive for Bethesda Cares.

~ Food donations for Bethesda Cares, the market’s gleaning partner, will be collected at the market
information table. Bethesda residents and shoppers can donate in one of three ways:

(1) bring grains, pasta or dried beans (non-perishable staples)

2) shop at market for fresh fruits or veggies to donate

(3) make a cash or check donation and FRESHFARM Markets will use the money to purchase fresh fruits and
veggies at the end of market for Bethesda Cares.

The goal of the Food Drive is to support both Bethesda Cares and the local farmers and producers at the Bethesda FRESHFARM Market.  FRESHFARM Markets is a 501c3 non-profit and all donations are tax deductible.


The Bethesda FRESHFARM Market opening day will also feature live music by jug band, Snake Head Run, and balloon twisting by Kazoo the Balloon Maker.
