Teitelbaum Earns Postseason Honors
Junior JASON TEITELBAUM (Bethesda, Md./Winston Churchill) of the Muhlenberg College men's tennis team was named to the Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Team.
Allentown, Pa. – Junior JASON TEITELBAUM (Bethesda, Md./Winston Churchill) of the Muhlenberg College men’s tennis team was named to the Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Team. He also was named the Mules’ Player’s Player.
The Sportsmanship Team honors a player from each team who has displayed good behavior on the courts throughout the season. The Player’s Player is each sport’s Most Valuable Player, as determined by a team vote. In addition to athletic performance, the award encompasses leadership, loyalty and support of teammates.
Teitelbaum served as a team captain and played No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles for the Mules. With partner Eric Chavis, he was a team-best 8-6 in doubles, including a 5-4 record in the tough Centennial Conference. He also was 6-12 in singles matches and led the team with 17 wins on the year.

Teitelbaum will enter his senior season with 42 career wins, the most among active Muhlenberg players.
