Why Go: BCFM is back and better than ever this season with mainstay vendors and a few new ones as well. Sunday’s opening will include a demo by Raku at 11a.m., a copper cookware display, breakfast pizzas by Fired Up Pizzas, a wine tasting and more.

Why Go: Support the downtown Bethesda art community and peruse the work of local, national and international artists as galleries stay open late for this monthly event.

Why Go: Support the Rockville-based Free State Roller Derby team and have some fun at the same time. The all-day event will feature a silent auction, food and drink specials, and a chance to meet the rollergirls.

Why Go: The weather is warming and the famous Cabin John Miniature Train is open for the season! Grab the kids and hop on board.
Pricing: Tickets are $1.75 each. Kids 2 and under ride free.

Where/When: All day beginning at 10a.m. April 8, 9 and 10 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, 16 Chestnut Street in Gaithersburg
Why Go: Just a short drive away, this festival will feature work by over 250 artists that celebrates springtime and the outdoors. Live music and demonstrations are also planned, with lots of kid-friendly activities.
Pricing: : $7 online, $9 at the door. Free for children under 12.

Why Go: The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra will pay tribute to Paul McCartney by performing his music, and a Paul look-a-like, Tony Kishman, will be on vocals.
