Two Montgomery County PNC Banks Robbed, Suspect At-Large

Police say one suspect might have committed two robberies of PNC Banks (in Rockville and Bethesda) this week.

Two robberies this week at PNC Banks in Montgomery County may have been committed by the same suspect, the Montgomery County Police Department said in a statement.

Monday's robbery took place shortly before 2 p.m. at the PNC Bank inside the Giant Foods store at 12051 Rockville Pike, Rockville. A suspect demanded money from the teller via a note. The suspect implied that he had a gun, but a gun was not seen. The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
