Arrest Made in Bethesda Bank Robbery

Sean Demitri Jackson, 30, was arrested July 1 and charged with armed robbery.

Montgomery County Police have made an arrest in the June 28 of the at 4708 Bethesda Avenue in Bethesda.

After receiving numerous tips provided by the community after a surveillance image of the suspect was publicized, Sean Demitri Jackson, 30, was arrested July 1, according to police.

Jackson has no fixed address.

Police said that a man entered the bank shortly after 10a.m. June 28, gave the teller a note that implied he had a weapon, and stole cash before fleeing on foot.

Jackson is charged with armed robbery and is being held on a $150,000 bond.
