Bethesda M&T Bank Robbed

Police said Dec. 26 bank robbery in Woodmont Triangle is connected to a bank robbery in Potomac.

Montgomery County police are looking for the man who robbed a M&T Bank in Bethesda the day after Christmas.

At around 4:30 p.m. Dec. 26, police responded to reports of a bank robbery at the M&T branch at 7920 Norfolk Ave., in Woodmont Triangle. A man slid a note to a teller demanding money and said that he was armed, according to Montgomery County police.

On Thursday, police released surveillance photos with hopes of identifying the man in the photos.

Police said they think the same person robbed a bank in Potomac on Dec. 21.
