Brittany Norwood Police Interrogation Video Released

ABC7 reports on the video, which was made public Monday.

Videos of the police interrogation of convicted Lululemon killer Brittany Norwood were released Monday, ABC7 reports.

Norwood was last month for the in March 2011. Norwood lied to police and elaborately staged the crime scene to make it appear as if the two women were attacked, leaving the Bethesda community in fear.

On the video, Norwood's elaborate tale crumbles as police continue to question her about Murray's death and the alleged attack. Norwood changes her story on the tape, telling police the "attackers" forced her to move Murray's car after she previously denied being in the vehicle.

The at Norwood's trial last fall, but have not been released publicly until this week.

"I think the interviews were critical to us, and what you saw was an evolving story,” Montgomery County State’s Attorney John McCarthy said, according to NBC Washington. “What was being told to us the first day she was found and those first two interviews was not what she was saying the following Friday. It was the evolution of the story and then when you can see these things side by side, members of the public will get to see what the police saw and see those inconsistencies, not the least of which was it wasn’t until the fourth interview on March 16 that she admits for the first time that she had actually moved Jayna’s car at the insistence of the supposed killers.”
