Country Club Burglars Caught on Tape

The three suspects who burgled the Bethesda Country Club on Aug. 1 were caught on a surveillance video released by police on Monday.

Police released surveillance videos on Monday of three suspects who stole food, drinks, sports equipment and merchandise from the Bethesda Country Club on Aug. 1, according to a county police news release.

The burglary occurred starting at about 3:15 a.m. on Aug. 1 at the club at 7601 Bradley Blvd., Bethesda, police said. The three suspects—all of whom appear to be young white men in their teens or 20s, according to the new release—stole items from the club's pro shop and from other buildings on the property, police said.

They also broke into a garage and took a golf cart. They drove the golf cart through a wooden gate, damaging both cart and gate, then abandoned the cart on the golf course, police said.
