A summary of recent crimes in Bethesda.

Montgomery County recently released a summary of crimes in the county from  April 11 to April 19. Following is a summary of recent crimes in Bethesda.

April 14

  • A residential burglary happened in the 9500 block of Linden Avenue at 9:30 p.m.  There was unknown means of entry and it was unknown whether anything was taken.

April 15

  • A residential garage burglary happened in the 9100 block of Bradley Boulevard, sometimes between 9:45 p.m. on Friday, April 15, and 1:30p.m.. on Saturday, April 16. There was no forced entry and property was taken.

April 16

  • A commercial burglary happened at Caddies on Cordell at 4922 Cordell Avenue, at 2:50 a.m. Property was taken and it’s unknown how the suspect enterered the business. Police are describing the suspect as a male between 23 and 26 years old, about five feet, five inches tall, and between 130 and 145 pounds with short brown hair.
  • A commercial burglary happened at the Bethesda Co-op Natural Food Market at  6500 Seven Locks Road in Cabin John in the overnight hours between Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17. There was forced entry and property was taken.

  • There were Multiple thefts from vehicles in Bethesda between April 11 and April 19 during which unlocked cares were targeted. Cash, credit cards, and loose electronics were stolen. Affected areas included the 5500 block of Johnson Road, the 5800 block of Mayberry Road, the 5700 block of Lexon Road, the 9900 block of De Paul Drive and the 5800 block of Tanglewood Drive.
