A summary of recent crimes in Bethesda.

Montgomery County recently released a summary of crimes in the county from April 18 to April 26. Following is a summary of recent crimes in Bethesda.

 

April 21

  • A theft from a construction site happened in the 4500 block of Fairfield Drive in the overnight hours from Thursday, April 21 to Friday, April 22. There was no forced entry and property was taken.    

 
April 22

  • A commercial burglary happened in the 4700 block of Montgomery Lane over the weekend from Friday, April 22 to Monday, April 25.  There was forced entry and property was taken.
  • Thefts from a home under construction in the 5300 block of Carlton Avenue were reported over the weekend from Friday, April 22 to Monday, April 25. Property was taken. It was unknown how the suspect entered the home.
  • Thefts from unlocked vehicles were reported in the 5900 block of Kirby Road and the 7800 block of Hampden Lane sometimes between Friday, April 22 and Sunday, April 24. GPS units, iPods, and cell phones were stolen.
