Thefts from vehicles reported in the second district.

Montgomery County Police recently released a summary of crimes in the second district from Nov. 28 to Dec. 6. Following is a summary of recent crimes in Bethesda.

Nov. 28

  • Vehicle parts were stolen from a vehicle in the unit block of Maplewood Court sometime between Monday, Nov. 28 and Wednesday, Nov. 30.

  • There were two thefts from unlocked vehicles parked in garages in the 4800 block of Bethesda Avenue. Cash and electronics, including a laptop, a cell phone, iPods and GPS units were stolen. The thefts happened on Dec. 1 and Dec. 5.
  • Vehicle parts were stolen from four vehicles on Cromwell Drive and Crathie Lane in the overnight hours from Thursday, Dec. 1, into Friday, Dec. 2. Vehicle parts were also stolen during the same hours from a vehicle in the 6300 block of Avalon Drive.
