Police Blotter: Oct. 31 - Nov. 8

Thefts from vehicles; robberies reported in Bethesda.

Montgomery County police recently released a summary of crimes in the Second District from Oct. 31 to Nov. 8. Following is a summary of recent crimes in Bethesda.

Nov. 3

  • There was a robbery on River Road and Wilson Lane, Bethesda at 10:20 p.m. A suspect assaulted a victim and stole property from him.

  • Two thefts from vehicles happened in the 5100 block of Wicket Terrace in the overnight hours from Saturday, Nov. 5 to Sunday, Nov. 6. Two iPods, a camera, and several paint ball guns were stolen.
  • There was an attempted robbery in the 4700 block of Montgomery Lane at 2 a.m.  Two men unsuccessfully tried to steal from a victim. Police are describing the suspects as two black males, between five feet, eight inches and five feet, ten inches tall, driving a dark gray Nissan.
