Police Respond to Report of Intoxicated Students at B-CC

Police responded Thursday morning to the Bethesda high school.

Update, 4:31 p.m.: Three students, all seniors, were found to have either been in posession of or to have been drinking alcohol, according to county schools spokesman Dana Tofig. Police were called and all of the students received disciplinary action, Tofig wrote in an e-mail to Patch.

Original post, 4:21p.m.: Montgomery County police were called to Thursday morning on the report of several students who were intoxicated.

The news was first reported by NBC4, and confirmed by Montgomery County police. Police were called to the school around 8:45 a.m., police spokeswoman Blanca Kling said.

This week marks Homecoming Week at B-CC. Some parents took to Twitter to report incidents of freshman hazing today at the school, including a parent who reported his ninth-grade son was doused in ketchup.

More information wasn't available on the incident. A Montgomery County Public Schools spokesman didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
