Police Turn to Public for New Leads in Double Burglary Case

Police released surveillance photos of the suspect in a Garrett Park burglary case.

Montgomery County police have exhausted all leads in a September double burglary and are asking the public for help in identifying the suspect in surveillance photos, police reported.

The two burglaries took place in the afternoon on Sept. 24 in the 4400 block of Cambria Avenue, in the Garrett Park neighborhood. One or more suspects stole items including credit cards and a 2012 Hyundai Elantra, police reported.

The stolen credit cards were used by the suspect at stores in Upper Marlboro and Bowie. The stolen Hyundai was recovered by the Metropolitan Police Department in southeast Washington, DC, police said.

Police ask anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about these burglaries to call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or enter a tip online. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided that leads to an arrest or indictment for this felony crime.
