Possible Life Sentence In Lululemon Murder
Prosecutors say they'll push for a life sentence if Brittany Norwood is convicted.
Prosecutors will push for a life sentence with no possibility of parole if Brittany Norwood is convicted in the murder of Jayna Murray, reports the Associated Press.
Norwood is in jail, awaiting trial on a first-degree murder charge. She's accused in the March murder of Jayna Murray inside the Lululemon Athletica store on Bethesda Row. Prosecutors say Norwood concocted a scheme to make it look like intruders carried out the murder.
This week, prosecutors informed Norwood's attorney of their intention to push for a life sentence if she is convicted.
