Report: Chevy Chase Man to Serve 15 Years for Robbing Denny's Restaurant

WUSA 9 reports that Colin Thomas Bowie of Chevy Chase will serve 15 years for robbing a Fairfax restaurant on New Year's Day 2012.

Colin Thomas Bowie of Chevy Chase has been ordered to serve 15 years in prison for robbing a Denny's restaurant in Fairfax on New Year's Day 2012, WUSA 9 reported.

Bowie used a handgun in the robbery, and demanded money from an office clerk. Once he had the money, he fled. He was "found a little more than a month later by Takoma Park [police] and charged with armed robbery," WUSA 9 reported.
