Reward Offered in North Bethesda Middle School Vandalism

Sexually explicit drawings and an ethnically offensive word were discovered at the school July 16.

A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the recent vandalism of according to a Montgomery County Police press release.

An ethnically offensive word and sexually explicit drawings, along with several initials, were July 16. Seven nearby vehicles were also vandalized. Police have linked the vandalism at North Bethesda with a similar recent incident at Herbert Hoover Middle School in Potomac.

Crime Solvers of Montgomery County is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information that leads to an arrest or indictment in the crime. The information must be provided anonymously. Anonymous tips can be provided by calling 1-866-411-TIPS or 240-773-8477, or by texting "MCPD" plus the tip to 274637 (CRIMES).
