Missing Bethesda Teenagers Return Home

Rachel Rebeka Rodrigues and Celia Halpern returned home Thursday.

Update, July 14, 6:50 p.m.: Celia Halpern and Rachel Rebeka Rodrigues returned home unharmed Thursday, according to Montgomery County police.

Original Post, July 12: Montgomery County Police are asking for help in locating two Bethesda teenage girls, one 15 and the other 16.

Rachel Rebeka Rodrigues, 15, of the 5900 block of Conway Road was last seen on July 10. She is described as a white female, 5-foot-6, 110 pounds, with brown eyes and long blond hair.

Celia Halpern, 16, of the 5100 block of Westport Road is described as a white female, 5-foot-1, 135 pounds, with brown eyes and dyed black hair. Police and family are concerned because she has a medical condition and does not have her medication with her.

Police believe the two may be traveling together and said it is uncharacteristic for either teen not to be in contact with their families.

Anyone having information about Rachel Rodrigues or Celia Halpern is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000. Callers may remain anonymous.
