Virginia Teen Goes Missing in Chevy Chase

Police are describing the missing 16-year-old as a transgendered person.

Montgomery County Police are searching for a missing Virginia teen last seen in Chevy Chase. Police are describing the missing teen, Linwood Ashton, 16, as transgendered person who represents as a female.

Ashton was travelling from Portsmouth, Va., to Baltimore with a caregiver when the two stopped near 8100 Connecticut Avenue. Ashton got out of the car to use the bathroom, and then became angry with the caregiver and ran away, police said.

According to police, Ashton is 5 feet 10 inches tall and 260 pounds with brown eyes. Ashton was last seen wearing a shoulder-length black wig, silver or gold tights, a white tee shirt, a thin black jacket, tan snow boots, makeup, and black stud earrings.
