After some parts of the state are digging out from more than a foot of snow, Maryland officials said that round two was on the way.

"We are not out of the woods yet. If people are at home, you should stay home," Gov. Martin O'Malley said at an 11 a.m. press conference.

More precipitation was coming, the governor said. It would be a couple of inches of snow and sleet or just snow, Fox 45 reported.

The snow will hit in the late afternoon, according to officials.

"Around 4 p.m., we will see the second punch of this storm," Director of Maryland Emergency Management Agency Ken Mallette said.

Officials said that power outages may be possible Thursday afternoon.

The Maryland National Guard has deployed 50 Humvees to assist in the storm, WJZ reported.

Lets just work together and everything will be fine. Yes, if we stay home the county workers can do their jobs easier and better. But more importantly why not stay home where you will be safe. Enjoy time together, read watch that movie or just relax. Maybe all this snow might give some of use that much needed break.

Unfortunately, there are those of us that do not get paid if we just stay home and relax. Gotta pay for that heat somehow....
