Meeting on Future of Bethesda Post Offices Set for Tonight
Meeting planned for 7 p.m. at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Regional Services Center.
United State Postal Services representatives will be on hand Wednesday evening to hear feedback on a to consolidate and relocate two Bethesda post offices.
The post offices include the location at 7001 Arlington Road and the historic building at 7400 Wisconsin Avenue.The proposal would close the facilities and re-locate them to a central location.
News of the potential closures first appeared in The Gazette, which reported the potential closures were part of a move by USPS to close post offices nationwide in the face of declining revenue.
