2 New Tenants for 7979 Old Georgetown Rd.

A social media campaign agency and a psychologist's office recently signed leases to occupy space in the 11-story building.

Two new tenants are moving into the large brick office building at 7979 Old Georgetown Rd., Bethesda, according to a spokesperson from Douglas Development Corporation, which owns the property.

Digital research and design agency SPARK Experience recently signed a seven-year lease with Douglas development that begins on July 1. The digital agency—which is relocating from Rockville to Bethesda—creates social media campaigns, websites and mobile applications, according to Douglas Development’s spokesperson.

And, psychologist Dr. Joel Adler and Assessment Associates signed a 6-year lease to occupy 1,302 square feet in the building, according to the spokesperson. Dr. Adler is relocating from an office on Brookville Road in Chevy Chase, in the Village of Martin's Additions.

The 11-story building was renovated in 2007. Douglas Development—the largest private property owner in the Washington, DC region—worked with Jones Lang LaSalle Brokers Andrew Masters, Danny Sheridan and Amanda Davis in the leases, according to Douglas Development.
