$3,000 Grants for Kids With Special Needs and Solutions
A learning disability can be daunting for a parent. Budget cuts limit the resources available to "accomodate" students with special needs at school. Even if accomodations are secured, they don't act as a permanent solution, particularly beyond the classroom. On the other hand, while a diagnosis is essential to understand the specific issue, it is not a solution. Tutoring simply treats the symptoms of learning struggles, without addressing the root cause, which is invariably linked to cognitive skill weaknesses.
Navigating through a proper diagnosis, advocacy for resources and effective treatment is clearly a challenge. Join us at LearningRx this Wednesday to learn more about how parents of children with special needs can obtain a proper diagnosis at reduced rates and, perhaps more importantly, secure grants of up to $3,000 per year for treatments that are proven to work where others have failed.
Light refreshments will be served.
