Discussion on End of Life Care with Dr. Dan Morhaim

On Tuesday, June 12th please join me at the Johns Hopkins Medicine Suburban Hospital Auditorium (8600 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda, 20814, parking info below) for a discussion about empowerment, dignity, options, and values at end-of-life care based on my book “The Better End: Surviving (and Dying) on Your Own Terms.”  Refreshments are served from 6 - 6:30 pm and then I will be speaking from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.

As you know, I continue to try to guide and educate Marylanders about end-of-life care which is a major driver of health care costs.  As Maya Angelou stated, “In The Better End, Dr. Morhaim helps the reader to see that while death does have its sting, it need not be bitter, and each of us can prepare for the end in better ways.”

Please feel free to park in either the visitor parking lot which is in front of the hospital or at the parking garage which is across the street on Lincoln Drive.  Parking is free after 5 pm.  Once you enter the main entrance of the hospital, go to your right and there is a staircase leading to the Auditorium.
