The News Literacy Project, a Bethesda-based educational program that uses journalists to help teach middle and high school students to be informed consumers of news and information in the digital age, will host a series of speaker events at Walt Whitman High School this fall. On Oct. 17, Gwen Ifill of the "PBS NewsHour" and "Washington Week" will give a speech entitled "Race and Politics in the Age of Obama." The event will be moderated by Richard Wolffe of MSNBC.
