News Literacy Project Speaker Event

The News Literacy Project, a Bethesda-based educational program that uses journalists to help teach middle and high school students to be informed consumers of news and information in the digital age, will host a series of speaker events at Walt Whitman High School this fall. In the final event of the series Nov. 4, former White House press secretaries Michael McCurry and Dana Perino will give a speech entitled "Briefing the Press: A Democratic and Republican White House Press Secretary Compare Notes.
