"Reflections on a Trip to Afghanistan"

Jean will provide a firsthand account of the situation on the ground in Afghanistan. In April and May, 2011, Jean traveled to Kabul in order to develop a deeper understanding of the war. She visited several projects that aid women and girls and interviewed a number of Afghans to get their perspectives. Jean will share what she learned, illustrating her talk with photos from her trip.
