SE Asian Islam vs.USA: Building Bridges

"Building Cultural Bridges between the SE Asian Islamic Countries and the United States"
On Sunday, October 30, Ninie G. Syarikin, Founder and Director, House of Creative Writing, LLC, will discuss building a cultural bridge between the Southeast Asian Islamic countries and the United States. Ms.Syarikin will speak at 10:25am at River Road Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Bethesda, Md. She will present a humane image of Muslim life and will focus on women's rights in Islam.

The program begins in RRUUC's Fireside Room at 10:25am and ends at approximately 11:15am. The discussion is part of the ongoing contemporary issues program: "Coffee, Controversy and Conversation."
