"Standing Alongside the Unemployed: The Faith Advocates for Jobs Campaign"

THE FAITH ADVOCATES FOR JOBS CAMPAIGN

Rev. Paul H. Shery will discuss "Standing Alongside the Unemployed: The Faith Advocates for Jobs Campaign" on November 20th in Bethesda, Md. at River Road Unitarian Universalist Congregation. Rev.Sherry is the Director of the Washington DC Office of Interfaith Worker Justice. He is also the Coordinator of the Faith Advocates for Jobs Campaign. Rev. Sherry will discuss the dimensions of the unemployment crisis in this country, how serious it is, and what Faith Advocates for Jobs, a national organization, is doing to remedy this situation. Rev. Sherry is the past national President of the United Church of Christ and past director of the anti-poverty Office of the National Council of Churches.
