Teens: Meet Author Sarah Dessen at the Bethesda Library

Teen Summer Reading Kick-Off

Summer is here and it is time for fun leisure reading!  Start your quest for some good books by attending New York Times bestselling author Sarah Dessen's talk on her new book "What Happened to Goodbye" at the Bethesda Library
Thursday, June 16 2011 5:00 pm.
Summary: After her parents divorce, McLean is estranged from her mother and moves with her father, living in four different towns in two years. With each uprooting, she recreates herself, even going by different names. Then she meets Dave, someone she can be herself with, and maybe he can help her figure out who that self is. Ages 12-16 and up are invited to this free program at the library.  Copies of her books will be for sale through an arrangement with Politics and Prose.  A percentage of proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Library, Bethesda Chapter.
