Graduation Speakers Announced For County High Schools

Bethesda area public school speakers include publishing industry leaders, state government officials, and notable alumni.

Speakers have been announced for graduation ceremonies at county public high schools, and in the Bethesda area, they include publishing industry leaders, state government officials, and notable alumni.

Steve Hull, editor and publisher of Bethesda Magazine, will speak at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School’s graduation ceremony. For Walt Whitman’s graduation, Maryland Lieutenant Governor Anthony G. Brown will speak. And Walter Johnson alumna Judy Olsen, former acting director and deputy director of the Peace Corps and a visiting professor at the University of Maryland School of Social Work, will speak at her alma mater’s graduation ceremony.

All three ceremonies will take place at the DAR Constitution Hall in the District. B-CC’s ceremony is set for June 2; Whitman’s will take place June 14; and WJ’s is set for May 31.
