Montgomery County's only public charter school, Crossway Community Montessori School, has parents clamoring for spots, but the school still needs more money to support its program for students younger than 5, The Washington Post reports.

As part of the Montessori program, curriculum at Crossway begins for kids as young as three, but as part of Montgomery County Public Schools, funding doesn't kick in until kindergarten, or age 5, according to The Post

The school needs about $150,000 each year to offer the program to younger kids, the newspaper reported.
