Burrito Mile 2012!

Its that time of year again! Get ready to eat more than you should and run faster than your stomach can handle.

The event will take place at Tilden Middle school on the 25th of Feb. It is the same place as last year. 


These are the costs!
$15 to compete
$5 per extra burrito (if you chose to run twice)
$10 for spectators


The event schedule will be:

This is a tentative schedule, changes may be made.
Freshman/sophomore race-10:30
Junior/Senior/Open Race-11:00
Elite Race-11:30
4x800M RACE-12:00
Awards will be whenever it ends!

In each race, competetors competely consume their one-pound burrito at the eating-station. After finshing and being checked, competitors will run four laps around the track. 

If you wish to participate in the Elite race follow these instructions:
-Message "Joshua Ellis" on Facebook
-include age, mile time, and prior Burrito Mile experience
-I will get back to you as soon as possible

There will be a costume contest this year as well as some nice prizes for each event winner!

All proceeds will be donated to the Walter Johnson HS "Pennies For Patients" fundraising drive. The fundraising will go towards the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
