Jayna Murray 5K Run/Walk

The Jayna Murray Foundation was founded due to the tragic incident that rocked Bethesda, MD on March 11, 2011. This organization is committed to honoring the memory of our dear friend and loved one, Jayna Troxel Murray, who was taken from us far too soon.  Our goal is to honor and remember Jayna and support her many passions by serving as a local, supporting organization for The Jayna Troxel Murray Foundation (TJTMF).

The purposes of TJTMF are to honor Jayna Troxel Murray by supporting and promoting her life interests and passions. TJTMF will promote these interests (academics, athletics, travel, fine arts and overall personal improvement) that were prominent in defining and enriching Jayna’s life with the intended outcome of bettering the lives of others.TJTM) provides scholarships for tuition to particular educational programs which Jayna  attended: St. Louis University Madrid study abroad program, Semester at Sea, George Washington University, Johns Hopkins University, and Kamp Kanakuk (undergraduate and graduate study, travel abroad, and summer camps) and perhaps, at some point in time, other educational programs that are in some fashion associated with Jayna Troxel Murray, as determined by the Board of Trustees.
