The Maryland State Fair is well under way at the Timonium Fairgrounds, but there are still plenty of concerts and special events before the late-summer tradition ends next Monday.

On Thursday, Fall Out Boy will perform at the fair, with tickets starting at $45. Three Days Grace will perform Sunday, with general admission tickets starting at $30.

The fair also has events including the Swifty Swine pig races, a pony show, a slime lab and a visit from a replica Batmobile. Check out the fair's schedule online.

Livestock and horse shows open at 9 a.m. each day, while most of the fair opens at 10 a.m. weekends and Labor Day, or noon on weekdays.

Admission to the fair is $8 for adults and $3 for children ages 6 to 11 (kids 6 and under are admitted free of charge). Ride tickets are not included. Information on admission and ride deals are available on the fair's website.

Parking is available at the fairgrounds or in nearby lots. You also may reach the fair via light rail at the Timonium stop.
