Bethesda Roads Flooded, Closed
Montgomery County is under a flood warning until 11:45 a.m.

Several roads in or near Potomac and Bethesda are closed this morning due to flooding.
Several roads in or near Potomac and Bethesda are closed this morning due to flooding.
Strathmore Avenue is expected to be shut down until about 2:30 p.m., a Montgomery County police spokeswoman said.
In addition, several Bethesda-area roadways remained closed as of 10:30 a.m. because of the high water:
- Inner Loop Capital Beltway exit ramp for River Road (exit 39)
- Massachusetts Avenue in both directions at Goldsborough Road
- Clara Barton Parkway from Cabin John Parkway to Chain Bridge
- Little Falls Parkway from River Road to Massachusetts Avenue
The National Weather Service issued a flood warning for south central Montgomery County until 11:45 a.m.

Angela Cruz, a police spokeswoman, said there were no reports of major, weather-related incidents.
Report flooded roadways by calling 311 or 240-777-0311 Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visit http://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/311 to report flooded roads at any time.
