North Bethesda Real Estate Market Stalled, But Not for Long

There's plenty of empty office space, while builders bank on increased demand for homes.

How’s the real estate market in White Flint? Kind of meh, according to The Washington Post’s Capital Business blog. Noting that the area is poised to undergo a redesign that will turn the suburb into a more walkable community, the neighborhood’s official outlook is mixed, the newspaper reported.

Although there’s plenty of empty office space, new apartment units are planned and condo prices are up, The Post said.

“Condominium market conditions in Montgomery County are likely to continue their steady improvement through the remainder of 2013 and into 2014,” wrote Steven Reilly, senior associate at Delta Associates, for The Post.
