Bag Tax Just for Food Bags?

Here are five things to know this week in Bethesda and Chevy Chase:

1.) Should the county's "bag tax" law be limited to apply only to bags distributed at "food stores"? The Montgomery County Council’s Transportation, Infrastructure, Energy and Environment Committee was slated to discuss the issue at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 4.

2.) Temperatures will be in the 50s on Monday and Tuesday, in the 60s Wednesday and Thursday, and in the 50s Friday and during the weekend, The Weather Channel reported Sunday night. The Weather Channel also predicted a 30 percent chance of showers on Thursday.
