This Week: Cooler Temps, Max Brenner Opens, Dine Out for a Cause

What's happening in and around Bethesda and Chevy Chase this week.

It's Monday, July 22, and here are five things to know this week:

1.) Expect cooler temperatures. In place of last week's stifling heat will be relatively cooler air in the mid-to-upper 80s, according to Weather.com. There may be scattered or isolated thunderstorms on most days, Weather.com adds.

2.) Chocolate lovers, this is your big week! Chocolate eatery Max Brenner will be opening some time this week on Bethesda Row, at 7263 Woodmont Ave. Max Brenner is no ordinary chocolate shop or even chocolate restaurant: It offers a unique chocolate experience. Read why on Patch.

3.) Dine out for a cause this week: Fifteen percent of proceeds from the dining room at BlackFinn in Bethesda Tuesday night will go to Habitat for Humanity. Read more in Patch's events calendar.

4.) Looking for a new house, or just curious to see the prices at which nearby houses are listed? Check out this list of houses for sale in the neighborhood.

5.) Something to live for: Did you know that Montgomery County residents live longer than practically anyone else in the country? Read more on Patch.
