The Bethesda Country Day School offers programs for pre-school children aged 2 to kindergarten throughout the school year and the summer.  Each individualized classroom is divided into several learning areas: reading, manipulatives, art, science, sensory, construction, writing and dramatic play. The structured learning experiences are combined with playtime, with the goal of developing the academic, social and emotional skills of children so they will be prepared for kindergarten and beyond. Periodic updates of children's progresses are provided to parents so they can remain involved. The school is part of Nobel Learning Communities, an organization that runs more than 180 schools from pre-school to the eighth grade throughout the country.
