Georgetown Preparatory School is a Jesuit college-preparatory school that is open to young men in grades nine through 12. Graduation requirements include English and religious studies, four years of mathematics, two years each of Latin, science and a modern language, one year of fine arts and three and half years of social studies. Advanced Placement classes are also available. Each student's weekday consists of eight 45-minute class periods. Religious studies, prayer, celebration of the Eucharist and retreats are also incorporated into the curriculum. Athletic opportunities include swimming, basketball, football, soccer, cross country, hockey, wrestling, baseball, lacrosse, golf, tennis, fencing and rugby.
