Altho the food is excellent, the service is nothing short of mercenary. I had a 5 p.m. reservation & requested that the entree NOT be put in until I indicated. Literally, as I swallowed my last bite from the appetizer, the entree arrived @ 6. When I sent it back, indicating that I now wanted a salad, I was sternly informed that I had to vacate the table so that they could set-up for the 7 seating. I WILL NEVER RETURN FOR THIS ABUSE, particularly when the avg entree alone is $40. The nearby table of 6 requested additional bread, as they were served the exact same portion as I @ my table for 1. They were rudely informed that Sat was a busy night & that they didn't have extra bread. Altho they begrudgingly served them additional bread, imagine a restaurant of this caliber NOT wanteing to serve additional bread! The waitress never asked if everything was OK until she delivered the check. In fact, I had to place my order for additional drinks with the food runners/bus boys. Le Vieux Logis' only regard for its customers are to get-in, pay-up, & get-out. They can keep their fine food & irresponsible service to themselves, as I will not tolerate abuse of my wallet by such totally mercenary antics.
