But we can get stoned now, makes perfect sense !! You could always just drive like responsibleRead More people and keep your speed safe, there are thousands of people missing limbs or worse wishing they never were involved in a crash by either there own fault or the result of some balloon knot, Thanks for keeping us safe officers
Alicia Murphy April 17, 2014 at 05:26 pm
I just use Waze now can't go wrong this tells you were the cops are and if they are not just say soRead More and it is removed and so many use it especially truck drivers so here to Florida I had no issues great app

runymede April 13, 2014 at 08:03 am
This is a terrible tragedy but I don't consider Bethesda as a Baltimore suburb but a WashingtonRead More suburb. Why should this story get a mention on this site ?
ladypoet April 14, 2014 at 01:14 pm
Catch him and do the same as he did to his family. This was such a heinous crime. Who could killRead More your own mother, children and the mother of your children? A no good demon!
Patrick Carter April 14, 2014 at 02:29 pm
Find him and fry him. He should die regardless of his age. Italy probably won't help because of theRead More Amanda Knox case. I say govt should put a hit on him.

Will someone please help Robert find his medications?
Justin case April 11, 2014 at 11:15 am
He probably retired from the state department under an alias. They didn't even notice he was missingRead More for an entire week so I'm sure they wouldn't notice if he came back to work as Juan Rodriguez or some other alias. Bunch of idiots. The FBI must finally be sick of this guy embarrassing them for 38 years
Pam Hamburg April 11, 2014 at 04:40 pm
Your government agencies at work....HA! But cops can get away with beating an unarmed or mentallyRead More challenged or mentally ill person to DEATH. What a world.

We, as a society, definitely have a 'mental health issue' to seriously address. But we also haveRead More those out there who are 'pure evil'. And it's almost alarming how that plea of "The devil made me do it" is going to be used and abused by lawyers who have absolutely 'no other justifiable defense'. In this case, appears premeditation and knowledge of what they were about to do and what they did. We have to remember! Innocent people who claim they 'killed' children to SAVE THEM, don't run from the law as they did!!!!
Justin case April 8, 2014 at 10:36 am
There is no insanity in this case, just pure evil. If they were truly insane at the time of theRead More killings then that means they didn't know right from wrong. These two evil do'ers knew exactly what they were doing. They both belonged to an "evil assassin" group which means they both were practicing this type of evil. Hell, one was the teacher and other person was the student. They obviously knew right from wrong over the time period they were studying this evil. If ever a time for the death penalty, this obviously is the case for it.

Anyone who actually falls for clearly should be taken advantage of for being so stupid. You can'tRead More buy your way out of a warrant

What a nice guy you are, Justin. Be sure are remember young, douchy you when you get scammed at someRead More point (or maybe it's happened already, but you're too dense to have realized?).

I'm getting offers by email, phone calls, and mail. In a number of emails I'm due for a bankRead More transfer of $14,000 just send $96.00 for the transfer fees...You have just won the lottery entered for you by a friend -just provide your bank code so we can deposit the money...in one phone call my grandaughter called-she sounds funny because of an accident where she broke her nose-needs money to get out of the hospital-don't tell mom... excuse me, who is this? Fire sweeps through apartment building under construction. (Photo from Montgomery County Fire Department.)

Excerpt: "The fire started at about 4:15 a.m. and its cause is not yet known." Comment:Read More 4:15 in the morning; under construction: never completed??? Sounds suspicious to me...either arson or homeless taking up shelter in those buildings. And the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration is right next door! Sadly makes cause of fire (whether arson or accidentally set ablaze) even more questionable. Just a blessing that no one was injured or killed in the blaze. Didn't realize The Gables had so many close-in-proximity apartment complexes...this uncompleted, now damaged, basically destroyed one in Rockville; one in Montgomery Village; another in Germantown corner of Middlebrook and Waters Landing.

I know that this blog doesn't have the resources of a titan like the Washington Post, but this storyRead More should at least mention which 'major road' has been closed - namely, the heavily used I-270 corridor. We live in King Farm and heard helicopters buzzing overhead for a ridiculously long time, at least from 6am thru 7:30am. Nothing more to see here folks, move along...

Anastasia March 27, 2014 at 11:41 am
What a senseless loss of life. I hope they find this murderer soon! My heart goes out to his familyRead More and I will share this so that others can look out for the vehicle in question.
Steven Spiegel March 28, 2014 at 12:12 pm
People are ruthless on the road these days. I don't understand what could go wrong going down theRead More road so bad that it would make someone want to kill someone. I have been in accidents were people have rear ended me and it didn't get me mad enough to want to kill them. I hope that they find this guy and prosecute him to the fullest . I just lost my father to cancer on New years eve and he was 84 and it hurt so bad . I could not imagine having my son murdered it would kill me !!! I hope that the family will heal soon but it takes time and I am sure the healing process would be greatly accelerated if they found those who were responsible .

What a waste of air to continue to let this guy breathe. He should be beaten till his own motherRead More wouldn't recognize him. Hope he rots in a jail cell then rots in hell for eternity. He doesn't belong in the outside world any longer
elaine whitmore March 22, 2014 at 12:18 pm

Data breach at University of Maryland.
DeDe March 21, 2014 at 06:23 pm
It seems every time you listen to the news or read something there is breach of security. EitherRead More the security is very poor in stores, colleges etc. or the reporting is getting better. It is extremely scary between the government listening to phone calls & hackers getting information off credit cards we are not safe.

"The reviews identified troubling gaps in DOD's ability to detect, prevent and respond toRead More instances where someone working for us — a government employee, a member of our military or a contractor — decides to inflict harm on this institution and its people," he said. This sounds like "What good is unarmed military personnel".
Walt March 20, 2014 at 06:56 am
Typical load of bureaucratic BS from the biggest butt kissers of all, military brass and theirRead More lapdogs. A six year old could give a more reasoned analysis. If the men and women of our military cannot be trusted with guns on our own bases we should just throw in the towel. If the soldiers might be armed they don't make such an inviting target.
Buck Harmon March 20, 2014 at 08:22 am
Hind sight is not always 20/20 when it comes to the government...they have a long history ofRead More screwing up in ways that are deadly.

Presented w/o comment:**** Sudden unexpected death under acute influence of cannabis**** from:Read More Forensic Science International****http://www.fsijournal.org/article/S0379-0738(14)00054-1/abstract**** We describe the cases of two young, putative healthy men who died unexpectedly under the acute influence of cannabinoids. To our knowledge, these are the first cases of suspected fatal cannabis intoxications where full postmortem investigations, including autopsy, toxicological, histological, immunohistochemical and genetical examinations, were carried out. The results of these examinations are presented. After exclusion of other causes of death we assume that the young men experienced fatal cardiovascular complications evoked by smoking cannabis.

Also w/o comment:**** Doctors criticized for 'cannabis can kill' study**** From The Local -Read More Germany's News in English****http://www.thelocal.de/20140226/german-doctors-claim-cannabis-can-kill**** But on Wednesday the German Association for Drugs and Addiction (FDR), which is based in Hannover, told The Local the study did not help educate people about the dangers of the drug.****“Cannabis does not paralyze the breathing or the heart," head of the FDR Jost Leune said. "Deaths due to cannabis use are usually accidents that are not caused by the substance, but to the circumstances of use.”
