Last week, news outlets reported that debris was found in the popcorn machine of the AMC Theatre at the Mazza Gallerie.
A routine food safety inspection at Mazza Gallerie's AMC Theatre earlier this month revealed "unclean food-contact surfaces" and "single-service items unprotected at counter," according to a food inspection report on Washington, DC's city website, Chevy Chase Patch reported last week. Those violations, coupled with the theater's failure to post the "Certified Food Protection Manager" certificate (issued by the city's health department) next to the establishment's business license, all had to be corrected within five days, the report—dated Aug. 2—continued.
