BRAC Committee Works on Goals for the Group
The goals include creating a priority list of projects, securing funding, communication of what’s going on and improving the county’s BRAC website.
Montgomery County's Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Implementation Committee discussed goals for the group to pursue in the coming months. The committee is made up of stakeholders from the community and a variety of state and local agencies, as well as the Navy. They offer recommendations for the move of a portion of Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., which is slated to relocate to the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda next September.
