Montgomery County Council Seeks New Member for Board of Appeals

The Montgomery County Council is looking for applicants to fill a partial term on the Montgomery County Board of Appeals. The Board of Appeals holds all-day weekly meetings each Wednesday and work sessions every other week, deciding issues such as: Applications for special exceptions; appeals from decisions made by other Montgomery County government agencies and variance requests from Zoning Ordinance development standards. Board members work approximately 15-25 hours per week, and are compensated $14,510 annually (except the chair, who receives $20,508.)
