With the Chevy Chase Pavilion still closed for renovations, the main entrance of the building's CVS now appears to be on the street, rather than inside the building.
The CVS inside the Chevy Chase Pavilion is one of only a few of the building's stores to remain open during the building's renovations, thanks—in part—to the store's street-side location. A ramp now leads up to the Friendship Heights store from the sidewalk overlooking the intersection of Military Road NW and Western Avenue. Entering CVS from the street, though, can be slightly disorienting, because the cashiers are still on the other side of the store—near the store's entrance from inside the Chevy Chase Pavilion (most of which is still under wrap).
