A carjacking that happened Monday morning in Friendship Heights may be one of a series of recent carjackings or carjacking attempts occurring across Montgomery County, police say. A carjacking that took place in Silver Spring on Saturday morning, April 9, followed a similar chain of events as the one in Friendship Heights: a suspect—described as a thin black male, about 5 feet, 8 inches, tall, 18-25 years old, wearing a black jacket and ski mask and armed with a handgun—forced a driver out of the car, then got in the car himself and took off.
