Tuesday, Dec. 20, is predicted to be the busiest day for holiday shipping through the U.S. Postal Service, which has won more than 75 environmental awards for its earth-friendly packaging materials and alternative-fuel delivery trucks.
With Chevy Chase still home to two post offices—one in Friendship Heights and one inside the Chevy Chase Village Hall—Chevy Chase residents have easy access to shipping cards and parcels through the U.S. Postal Service. The Postal Service predicts that Tuesday, Dec. 20, will be the busiest day for mailing letters and packages, while Monday, Dec. 19, will be the busiest day for delivering mail this holiday season.
